The Lilburn and Grayson Schools of Ballet are pleased to announce our 27th annual summer intensive workshop.  These classes are designed for the beg/intermediate through advanced dancers.

The workshop offers daily training in ballet, pointe, partnering, modern, jazz, pilates, African, drama for dancers and more!  All classes are taught by a distinguished faculty of dance professionals.  Guest instructors include Kristy Nilsson (Houston Repertory Ballet), Jonah Hooper (Atlanta Ballet), Maria Hooper (Atlanta Ballet) , Ralph Jacques (Atlanta Ballet), Josh Schadl (Covington Regional Ballet), Beau Foister (The Georgia Ballet), Dr. Theresa Howard (Ballethnic & Kennesaw State University), Amy Morrow (Parkview Drama), Jennifer Vannucci-Dolan (Orlando Ballet, Carolina Ballet), Slava Belinsky (Bolshoi Ballet) land many more still to be announced.  Dancers will experience new choreography and dance styles in the late afternoon rehearsals.  The program culminates in an exciting on stage performance at the end of the workshop.

24 summer 3-5 Lilburn

Just when the summertime blahs hit, ballet saves the day!  Don’t let your child miss out on the most comprehensive summer program yet! We will be offering classes in ballet, tap intro, and modern for students ages 3-5.  The performance workshop will also offer professional instruction in drama, dress up, stage crafts, and many other fun activities.  We will study a famous ballet, and the recreate the story through dance and mime.  Students will be taught to express temselves through movement.  All dancers will perform for parents at the conclusion of the workshop.

Our new expanded facility features state of the art studios for your budding ballerina!

This is a great opportunity for your child to really advance in their dance training and to have fun.  Students receive over 8 hours of instruction in just two weeks.  This is equivalent to two months worth of training for many young dancers.  What an exciting, quality activity for your young children.


6-9 Year Olds

We will be offering classes in ballet, jazz, and modern for students ages 6-9.  The performance workshop will also be offering professional instruction in ballet history, nutrition, variations, drama, and stage crafts.  We will study the famous ballet “Cinderella” and then recreate the story through dance and mime.  Children will be taught to express themselves through movement.

This is a great opportunity for your child to really advance in her dance training.  Students receive up to 35 hours of instruction! Students who attend the June workshop will have an in-studio demonstration at the end of the week.  Those dancers attending the July workshop will have the opportunity to perform in a mini-performance onstage with the company dancers at the conclusion of the workshop.  This is equivalent to 4 months worth of training for many young dancers.  Most important, your child will have fun while learning a beautiful art form.
