Actively involved in our community

Barefoot in the Park

In addition to our regular season, the Northeast Atlanta Ballet appears frequently around our community at various senior centers and hospitals to help enrich the lives of those in need through the beauty of classical ballet.  We can be seen performing around Metro Atlanta at numerous festivals and events to aid other non-profit groups in their fundraising efforts.  The Company also participates in local festivals including The Papillon Festival at the Children’s Arts Museum in Duluth, Barefoot in the Park and the Duluth Fall Festival at the Duluth Amphitheatre, the Martin Luther King Unity Event at Shiloh High School, Moving Forward, a benefit performance for the Atlanta Food Bank, and the Gwinnett Gladiators community night to support Breast Cancer research.  Company members have also performed at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta event held at the Georgia Aquarium.

Children’s Healthcare Benefit

The Northeast Atlanta Ballet has been committed to the youth in our community since our inception in 1996.  We have continued to provide not only the highest quality training and performing opportunities for aspiring dancers, but we have also provided scholarship opportunities to many young dancers who would otherwise not be able to participate in a quality dance program.  The Northeast Atlanta Ballet has provided countless scholarships for talented young dancers and has performed for over 50,000 underserved children in our community through our free and reduced price school outreach performances.
